FOMO

FOMO (fear of missing out) is the fear of missing a move. It pushes you to enter too late, without a plan, often at the worst price.

You know the scenario: price takes off without you, you watch the candle stretch, and you end up buying the top, just before the pullback. FOMO is amplified by social media, where everyone shows their wins and rarely their losses.

It leads to entries without a logical stop, oversized positions and trades outside your plan. The result is often a quick loss, which in turn feeds the urge to revenge trade.

The cure is simple to state and hard to apply: written entry criteria, pending orders set in advance, and accepting that there will always be another trade.
