Price action
Price action is analysing the market from the movement of price itself: candles, structure and key levels, with few or no indicators.
A price action trader works on the principle that all useful information is in the price. They read structure, support and resistance, candlestick patterns and how price reacts at important levels.
Advantages: clean charts, signals without lag, and a method that works on every market and timeframe. Drawbacks: more room for interpretation, which makes it harder to test rigorously.
To improve, write precise rules (which candle, at which level, in which trend) and backtest them. Without rules, price action quickly becomes hindsight reading that always looks obvious. A trading journal with screenshots of each setup speeds up that learning.
