Swing trading
Swing trading aims to capture moves lasting a few days to a few weeks, using analysis on H4, daily and weekly charts.
A swing trader looks for one full “swing” of the market: a pullback in a trend, a breakout, a bounce off major support. They take few trades, but each one targets hundreds of pips or several percent.
This style fits around a job: the analysis is done in the evening or the morning, and pending orders do the rest. Stops are wider, so position sizes are smaller.
In return, you pay swaps, carry weekend gap risk and hold positions that move while you sleep. Check the week's economic calendar before every entry.
